AEMA Board Holds Virtual Fall Meeting

The AEMA Board of Directors met virtually on Tuesday October 20, 2020 to review and direct the business of the association. The Board met to review the 2017-2020 AEMA strategic plan and the ways AEMA has worked over the last three years to meet and exceed the goals set. In addition, the AEMA Board worked to create a new Strategic Plan to put in place for 2021-2024. More information on the Strategic Plan will be provided in the coming weeks. The AEMA Board reviewed the representatives serving on the Pavement Preservation & Recycling Alliance (PPRA) Synergy Leadership Team and agreed the four representatives will include the President, Vice President, and two additional representatives appointed by the President, one of whom must be an active members of the marketing committee. The Board also discussed and approved a new Leadership Development Team program, L.E.A.P., which will begin at the 2022 AEMA-ARRA-ISSA Annual Meeting, with more details forthcoming. The AEMA Board is scheduled to meet again in February 2021 during the AEMA-ARRA-ISSA Annual Meeting.
