During the tour on June 6^th, 2023, the LEAP class had the unique opportunity to take an in-depth look at Arkema’s fully integrated research and development facility in Mulberry Florida.

This location is home to a manufacturing center, an AMP Trucking fleet and Research and Development laboratory. Along the tour we met with the Director of US Operations Jason Brannen, Production Manager Jason Kaminski, Service Manager Luz Colon-Gonzalez and the Senior Director of Technology and Innovation Pushkala Krishnamurthy.

During our introductory meeting we were educated about Arkema’s mission to “Help customers succeed.” During our day we visited the research development lab, calibration lab, tank farm as well as their impressive transportation facilities. Watch out for Gators!! From gaining information about Lithium concentrations in mining soils to crop nutrition and asphalt additives our group was impressed with the goal, vision, and safety-oriented environment! Arkema has six worldwide applications including surfactants and additives, crop nutrition, home and industrial care, mining, asphalt additives, oilfield chemicals and resins.
