ITC: Lets Get Technical!

I hope your pumpkin spice is ready and your spooky decorations are out & about.

With the changing of the leaves, we at the ITC are excited to announce a few changes on our end:

Our segment in Emulsion Notes, known as "What's Happening in The Committee" is officially being rebranded as “Let’s Get Technical.”

This new title also expands what the ITC intends to offer through the Let’s Get Technical (LGT) articles.

The LGT articles will focus on reporting out on the progress, projects, and sub-committee reports in several areas:

Important information from industry meetings around the country including regional pavement preservation partnership meetings, national task forces on emulsions and other important conferences and conventions.

The technical responses to questions sent to the AEMA website allow for more helpful information to spread more effectively across the industry membership.

Summaries of Asphalt emulsion related research from NCHRP, academic Journals, transportation agency studies and other sources

Progress reports on the revisions, additions, and new sections of the Asphalt Institute’s Basic Asphalt Emulsion Manual

Project Updates on the development of proposed specification & product information standardization in the form of General Guidelines for Asphalt Emulsions

Discussion and Development of hot topics in the industry such as results studies between Saybolt & paddle viscosity.
