Check Out What AEMA has Planned for the Technical Session

AEMA Program Chair, Matt Kennedy, has been busy planning this year’s AEMA Technical Session at the upcoming AEMA-ARRA-ISSA Annual Meeting. The AEMA Technical Session will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 10am-1pm PT. Hosted by AEMA’s Leadership Development Team, attendees will first hear from a panel discussing the sustainable practices in asphalt emulsion, recycling, and applications. Next, Dr. Andrew Braham, University of Arkansas will share information on the comparison of lab-produced Asphalt Emulsions by manufacturing equipment type. Then, Jeff Weitzel, Arkema, will highlight the CDOT SH 149 Cold-In-Place-Recycling project which is the largest asphalt emulsions recycling project in the west. Finally, Scott Dmytrow, Pavement ACES, will give attendees an inside look at the new AEMA training program. AEMA’s Annual Business Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 5th from 4-5pm. AEMA encourages all to attend to learn more about the new strategic plan being implemented. Following that, the AEMA LDT Meeting will be held from 5-6pm. On Thursday, March 6, the ITC Meeting will be held from 2:30-3:30pm and the 2024-2025 LEAP Class will share their reports with membership.
