Adam Resig

Pavement Preservation Production Coordinator, Vance Brothers

I’ve been in the construction trenches since I graduated high school. My journey began in the equipment rental business with US Rentals (which later merged with United Rentals). I started in the yard washing equipment, worked my up to delivering equipment to jobsites and ended up top class A driver within 10 years. I transitioned into sales w/ Ahern rentals for one year before the 08’-09’ market crash. This is when I entered the asphalt industry with Vance Brothers. I’ve been at Vance Brothers, on the production side, since 2010.

Andrew Eicher

Research Engineer, Asphalt Materials

Since 2016, he works on product research and development, focusing on asphalt binder and emulsion materials used for pavement preservation. He currently lives in Carmel, Indiana where he enjoys golfing, bowling and officiating hockey and lacrosse.

Cade Sherman

Technical Operations Manager, Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions

I joined Ergon Inc. in 2015 after receiving my civil engineering degree from Mississippi State University. I began as a project engineer in the Corporate Engineering Department and have since transitioned to Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc working as a Technical Operations Manager for the Southeast Region. I currently live in the Flowood, MS area where the corporate office is located. When I’m not traveling from plant to plant, I enjoy spending time with my family and hunting.

Charity Cook

Group Leader, Paragon Technical Services

Charity Cook manages the Asphalt Emulsions Group at Paragon Technical Services, Inc. She is a degreed chemist and a leader in asphalt paving product testing, development, and research. In her spare time, crafting, doting on animals and being a fan of all things true crime keep her occupied.

Ernesto Santillan

Area Sales Manager, Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions

My name is Ernesto Santillan Lahud, I was born in Mexico City and earned a scholarship playing tennis and football for Alcorn State University. I graduated with an Electromechanical Engineering Degree. I have been with Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions for the Texas branch since September 2015. My pastime includes playing any sport, hanging out with my friends, and chasing my dog Buster.

Faisal Ibrahim

Russell Standard

I have been working in laboratory settings for about 7 years. My skills range from Research and Development to normal laboratory testing routines. I have also worked directly with the plant manager to train and learn the ins and outs of running an asphalt plant. I have a bachelor's in chemistry.

Kim Gessner

Lab Technician, Asphalt Technologies Group

I have been a Lab Technician for 12 years. My focus is Asphalt Emulsion R&D and testing. I live in Wisconsin with my husband and 2 sons.

Michael Tyree

Technical Services, Associated Asphalt

I grew up in the Roanoke, Virginia Area. Currently handle Mid Atlantic Technical Services with Associated Asphalt. PGAB and Emulsion Manufacturing with lab services background. Graduate of Ferrum College. I enjoy coaching softball and anything outdoors. Father of three girls.

Nat Borsh

Sales Manager, Russell Standard

Nat is a new addition to the Asphalt Emulsion Manufacturers industry. He comes from previous tenures as the Director of Sales in the Merchant Services and Human Capital markets. Nat started his sales leadership career with First Advantage Corporation, a Symphony Technologies Company leading their Channel Partnership and Affinity Alliance Program. He later oversaw Sales Operations for SJV Data Solutions providing Artificial Intelligence Automation solutions to Fortune 500 Companies. Most recently, Nat served as the Director for the Northeast region at Pinnacle Hospitality Systems developing relationships to provide SAAS solutions around Point of Sale software and hardware and Merchant Services.

Tejash Gandhi

Business Development Manager, KAO Chemicals

Tejash Gandhi got his PhD in Asphalt Materials from Clemson University in 2008 and has had experience in the asphalt chemicals industry for about 15 years in various roles ranging from R&D, product development and commercial roles. Tejash is currently the Business Development Manager for Kao Chemicals since 2018 where he is tasked with commercializing innovative technologies for the asphalt paving industry.

Trevor Ullman

Production Manager, Vance Brothers

I work with Vance Brothers in Denver, Colorado. I am a production manager and lab technician for our asphalt emulsion department.

Ty Hughes

Group Leader, Paragon Technical Services

From Brandon, MS, I am the Group Leader for the mix design lab at Paragon Technical Services. I graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2016. I currently work in the Mix Design group specializing in Pavement Preservation, Rehabilitation, and Structural systems.
